After you book your appointment and submit new patient forms and payment, a confirmation of your visit will be sent via text and email

Upon completion of your visit, you will receive a treatment plan including any prescriptions or refills and referrals if needed.

MEET MARIA SHIMIZU
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
FAMILY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Dr. Maria Shimizu is a Doctoral prepared Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of healthcare experience including primary care, gastroenterology, and hepatology. She is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a full-time resident of South Lake Tahoe. Dr. Shimizu saw the need to provide access to high-quality, patient-centric healthcare via Telehealth to provide primary and specialty care services to improve the health outcomes of her community.
